English Teachers and Teen writers this idea is for you!
Write a story and make the main character a modern day allusion! Think of all these amazing classics always referring to Shakespeare, Greek Mythology, Bible, etc, and get an idea of how to formulate your own using a modern story (Ex: Harry Potter, PERCY JACKSON, The Fault in our Stars, etc.)
Try answering these questions before beginning:
Who is your character alluding? Why?
What is the point of the allusion?
Does is highlight anything about the character?
Does it foreshadow something?
Teachers, you could even have a class competition to see which writer's allusion can be guessed the quickest! :)
Have fun and don't forget to email pinkrosepetal525@gmail.com to tell me about your experiences or new ideas!

Long Lost - Teen/Adult Idea #3
Imagine a pair of "friends" who sometimes are best friends (talking and laughing) and sometimes worst enemies (shouting at each other and fighting). Suddenly one day both of them are kidnapped and taken to a woman who claims to be their long lost mother. Continue this story....DUN DUN DUN!

Explorer - Kids Idea #3 / Teacher Idea #2
Science teachers, this is an idea for you! This idea can be used when learning about different ecosystems (ocean, prairie, rain forest, etc.) or interactions
1) Have each student choose an animal (try to make sure that there is a variety of animals in the class)
2) Then have them write stories from that animals POV!
->To make it educational have them to include how they get food (shows predator/prey relationships and different foods available in that ecosystem), where they live (describes the ecosystem and specifically where that animal lives), how different weather affects them, etc.
Optional:
3) have them read their stories out loud (builds public-speaking skills) and give the story with the most scientific details a prize!

***Have fun and let me know how this idea works at pinkrosepetal525@gmail.com :)

Love As Told By A Flower - Teen/Adult Idea #2
Imagine a man buying a bright red rose (or any other flower) and bringing it to his girlfriend on their first date. As their relationship prospers the man continues to buy flowers for her. Tell their love story from each flower's point of view.
***Idea: Each chapter could be from a different flower's POV! I imagine this could be a really sweet short story, so don't forget to contact me at pinkrosepetal525@gmail.com if it does end up as one! :)

Invent a Creature - Kids Idea #1 / Teacher Idea #1
***This idea is for you science teachers!
1) Have each student (or a group of students) invent a species of mythical creatures (Ex: a fairy)
2) Have them draw and cutout this creature to put in an "environment" (somewhere in the class)
3) Then have them write out specific characteristics/details on the back of the cutout depending on what you're learning in the class
-> Ex: If your learning about niches and competition in environments have the students write
a description of what their mythological species eats, where it lives, etc.
4) Put all the creatures together to show how they interact together, how they compete, etc. This idea can be adapted to teach kids about almost anything in ecology or other scientific studies!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***This idea is for you English teachers! It can be used as a creative writing lesson or something just to do for fun when you have free time :)
1) Have each student (or a group of students) invent a mythical creature (Ex: a unicorn or dragon)
2) Then have each student (or group) write a description with character traits (or other things you're learning in English)
3) Brainstorm story ideas, and write a story with the whole class* that includes all the characters
-> *could have each student write a sentence and pass it along to the whole class or teacher can write the story on the board/doc camera while students raise their hands to give sentences.
Thanks for reading and have tons of fun!

A Vivid Writer - Teen/Adult Idea #1
Imagine a famous writer who writes his/her stories with such vivid detail that some reader's believe he/she has lived it all. The writer does not know how she gets her ideas or why as she writes she can almost feel the things she's describing. Only the author's guardian (or someone else close to them) knows the truth: the author has multiple personality disorder and the stories he/she writes are the adventures he/she takes when the author is his/her other personalities.
***I've made some parts of the idea purposefully general (such as not choosing a gender or specifying who is the one that knows the secret) so that you can take it and shape it into your own story! If anyone does use this idea please let me know I would love to see what it will become!
